Sorry Alec, we're going with the listeners favourite today. But you never know, might be able to fit LC in the second hour. Will see how things go.

Hiya Ian,

Enjoyed the show very much again. As usual thank you very much for playing my request. Great to hear Boston and a nice surprise to hear Roy Orbison as well with ''cryin''. Wonderful. I have the version with K.D Lang here, so I will send it to you, so you also got it.

Enjoyed the long song also, that was real rocking! And all the others songs you and the listeners had picked out.

Great job again Ian

I'd have thought you'd have played the "Only Fools and Horses" version of "Crying"!

Many thanks Arvid, glad you enjoyed it.

And yes Chris, since that episode of OF&H, a beautilfu song has been ruined in my mind. Impossible not to think of it as "Cwying"!

This evening: A long winter song from Donna Summer. Chris Hill and the Barron Knights bring a smile. We go back to 1973 for the battle of Christmas battles for our Hour Two Opener vote and back to 1978 for our 5-from-10 Chart Recall. Plus, your emails and requests live from 7pm. See you then! :D

Had to be done!

Oh yes!

Funnily enough, it was the most requested Christmas song on Caroline on Tuesday night.

I told my Watch Manager that earlier, then he cursed me cos he couldn't stop singing it!
